If you know anyone who has a new teen driver, the Start Smart classes presented by California Highway Patrol are a must!
Designed for a parent and child, these effective classes cover many critical lessons about driving that are designed to save lives.
Although the Start Smart classes are offered throughout the state of California, they were created right here due to the loss of life of a local high school student who lived in Monterey County.Even if someone is not killed, the unfortunate effects of car accidents can take their physical, emotional and financial toll for decades.
Please spread the word! These classes are important!
Just go to http://www.chp.ca.gov/community/startsmart_class.html to sign up.

It's a great cause. Teens have the right to drive a car but at the same time they're at a stage where they just start learning how to drive one. They need to have a thorough understanding on the rules and responsibility on being a driver and should be encouraged to uphold that good attitude when holding the steering wheel.
