Knockout Presentations!

As I plan exactly what I'm going to cover in my upcoming two hour (!) Marketing and Public Relations Presentation on Saturday morning for Professional Women's Network members and the public, I couldn't resist taking another look at the fabulous book, Knockout Presentations: How to Deliver Your Message with Power, Punch, and Pizzazz by Diane DiResta.

Diane's book is well-organized and filled with excellent strategies for giving an effective presentation! It includes common mistakes, stage presence, stucture and orientation of your speech, and setting the stage for the presentation, among many other valuable pointers. It even discusses Q and A, Difficult People and "Deadly Disasters."

This is a book for everyone who gives presentations...or for anyone who is thinking they ought to give one (and yes, you should - it's an excellent marketing strategy to build awareness of you and your products!)
